Please join YouthBuild Philly's Class of 2019 for important discussions on issues important to 18-21 year olds across Philadelphia. Young Friends of YouthBuild Philly will facilitate panel discussions with students on topics selected by student leaders. Past conversations have focused on college and workforce access, violence prevention, community service, and more. Audience participation and questions are strongly encouraged!

About YouthBuild Philly: YouthBuild Philadelphia offers young people from across Philadelphia between the ages of 18-21 to earn their high school diploma and industry-recognized vocational certification through a rigorous blend of academics, training, and service learning. Since 1992, more than 2,600 former high school dropouts have earned their high school diplomas at YouthBuild Philadelphia, completing more than 1,000,000 hours of community service.
About State of Young Philadelphia: Each fall, Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) hosts State of Young Philly (SOYP), a dynamic 10-day event series filled with programming designed to connect young Philadelphians of every background, showcase their positive impact, and amplify their voices. SOYP 2018 brings together nonprofits, government entities, civic leaders, and local businesses to help young Philadelphians identify what civic engagement means to them and the role each individual can play in driving change in their communities.
