Join YIP to kick off the 7th Annual State of Young Philly at its annual Civic Engagement Fair where you will meet and greet dozens of organizations representing the most innovative non-profit, governmental and advocacy groups in Philadelphia. This event will:
Connect you with the organizations that are leading change in our city;
Offer you the opportunity to meet with hundreds of Philadelphia-area millennials;
And of course provide the beer, wine, and light fare to fuel your evening of networking! Drink tickets will be $5 a piece and sold at the event to those ages 21 and older.
The event is free, however we are partnering with Students Helping Students to collect supplies for local public schools in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring an item for donation to our partner of any of the following variety:
- Dry Erase Markers
- White Copy Paper
- Notebooks
Each participating organization will have representatives present to introduce you to their organization’s mission, tell you about their upcoming events, and recruit new volunteers and committee members. Get ready to jump-start your civic engagement while mingling at one of the city’s amazing cultural institutions, The Rock School of Dance.
