As YIP's State of Young Philly expo coincides with National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week this year, it seemed only fitting that Bethesda Project and its Philadelphia Partnership to End Chronic Street Homelessness (PPECSH) get on board!
Join us for a breakfast panel with experts from Bethesda Project, Project HOME, Horizon House, and Pathways to Housing PA as they speak on the state of homelessness in Philly, each organization's unique continuum of care, and the role and impact that young Philadelphians' efforts have on chronic street homelessness.
We are fighting the stigma of homelessness and changing the perspective that homeless individuals don’t deserve our help. In order for organizations that serve the homeless to continue this vital and life-changing work, we need the support of our community to be successful, and to be successful in garnering support, we must educate our community about the complexities of homelessness.
So come on out to beautiful Legend Galleries, get some coffee, schmear a bagel (from the Schmear It Bagel Truck!), and don't be afraid to ask a question or two!
